Co-Regulation Response Framework
Co-regulation means helping a person learn to regulate their emotions through our presence, empathy, and by modelling regulation skills ourselves.
Co-regulation does not mean being calm all the time, never getting angry, or never making mistakes. It means actively managing our own emotions so that we can help another person manage theirs.
