Autism Abilities’ professional development workshop provides teachers and schools with a deeper understanding of autism and neurodiversity. 

This workshop will help you:

• Discover effective strategies for collecting data promptly to ensure the disability inclusion profile is fully supported with the necessary evidence. 
• Recognise adjustments teachers have implemented or could be implementing to support students better  
• Learn ways to build on students strengths - Positive behaviour support is a strength-based person-centred approach 
• Understand the function behind students' behaviour  
• Develop strategies and best practices for supporting autistic and neurodivergent students in the classroom 

Delivery options:

This training can be delivered in:

• A full day (6 hours)
• Or series of three 2-hour modules 
• Available in online or face-to-face formats

Cost: 

The total cost of the program for your school is $2100 plus GST inclusive of a pdf copy of the slides for all participants.  *Additional costs may apply in face-to-face formats.
